So we've never done an Adventure cache, which means I really appreciated your description. That sculpture conveys deep and distressing emotion and you channeled it well with your photo. PJs comment about earthcaches is interesting, as is your reply. We'll be in the UK later this year and I've bookmarked a bunch of earthcaches. Now I think I need to take a closer look to be sure I only load ones that don't require hours of internet research and writing a treatise to earn the find! I like it when they take me somewhere and show me certain things. I can't stand when they are ones where you have to basically do research online and all that ... or are quick rock formations on the side of the road. Make it worth something. I remember when I had a couple at one nature center near me. I had to go back and forth with the admin several times to get it right. Now it seems like if there's anything geographical, they'll publish and let it fly. I like the middle ground ... teach me something, but make it fun. If I have to do a ton of homework, I'm skipping it. That's the real freedom of retirement, IMO. I think it's great that you're supplementing your appointments, surgeries and treatments with regular doses of gradbabkin and Vitamin N(ature) - both so good for your emotional, pyschological and physical well-being. Planning a trip is half the fun - that sense of anticipation can't be beat. Sometimes parts of the trip don't line up as expected, and others they exceed your expectations. Looking forward to some trip-related posts from Utah and Colorado.Out and About with the GeoKshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00588149079309595937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-518359272684562519.post-38833352531591664122023-09-02T10:46:39.562-07:002023-09-02T10:46:39.562-07:00Thanks for the encouraging words. Thanks for the encouraging words.Paul Myershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02159194518854240946noreply@blogger.com
